Meet Your Instructor: Allison Wrenn Thomas
Allison Wrenn Thomas, singer, choral director and educator, is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill where she received a B.M. degree in Vocal Performance and Music Education. Allison currently serves as the Choral Director at Martin Gifted and Talented Magnet Middle School, where she developed the first Music Production course available to middle school students in Wake County Public Schools in 2020. Since then, Allison has taught hundreds of students how to produce their own music, record via midi keyboards, create original beats and vocal tracks. Allison is a National Board Certified Teacher, and her pedagogy focuses on age-appropriate techniques to ensure her students have strong fundamentals throughout their development and exploration of various styles.
